Vodafone's Intranet site acknowledged as one of the world's best by Nielsen Norman Group

Research firm Nielsen Norman has judged Vodafone's Intranet as one of the world's top ten at this year's Intranet Design Contest.

Nielsen Norman Group identifies Vodafone's provision of mobile access to the Intranet and the integration of the Intranet with mobile features as one of the leading trends in industry design.

"Vodafone is a mobile organization in every possible way, and for Vodafone's Intranet, designers not only applied their own skills, but also channelled the organization's collective mobile-device proficiency," said usability expert Jakob Nielsen, principal, Nielsen Norman Group. "The resulting Intranet boosts collaboration and productivity, and reinforces the corporate culture and goals - both on desktops and mobile devices - for more than 65,000 employees worldwide."
