Vodafone AirTouch Plc today announces that clearance has been received from the European Commission for the joint venture between Vodafone AirTouch, Vivendi and Canal+ to develop a multi-access horizontal internet portal and related internet services.

As announced on 17 May 2000, the joint venture company will operate under the brand name VIZZAVI.
