Proposed amendments
At the Annual General Meeting on 24 July 2007 it is proposed that the Company's Articles of Association be amended principally as a result of the new regime regarding electronic communications with shareholders.
A summary of the proposed changes is set out in the explanation of the business of the Annual General Meeting. This document does not include the proposed amendments to the Articles of Association referred to in Resolutions 25 and 28 of the Notice of 2007 AGM pursuant to a mandatory requisition by shareholders under the provisions of section 376 of the Companies Act 1985.
