Parental controls are available in some Web browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.

See what controls you can set on your child's computer and click on the links for more information. If you use more than one browser, you'll need to change the settings for each one.

Firefox

The parental controls in Firefox let you filter Web content that may be inappropriate or offensive for children.

Chrome

With Supervised User accounts on Google Chrome, you can allow or block certain sites, see which ones have been visited and prevent apps being installed.

Internet Explorer

Microsoft’s Content Advisor enables you to prevent your child seeing websites containing nudity, violence and other inappropriate content.
