Work used to be simple, it was nine to five and face to face. Then came the computer and phones, and an increasing array of software tools. Now many people feel that there are too many ways to be contacted. And it’s all too often you find yourself reading an email when the phone rings, only to be interrupted by an instant messages popping up on your screen!
We are constantly available, lines blurred between work and life. The increased flexibility is great, but work has become complicated and information is spread everywhere, resulting in customer service suffering.
But, what if we could run everything from the cloud? Data available to those who need it when they need it. Knowing when people are available and OK to be contacted, and then communicating easily. Personalised, on my favourite device, over my preferred channel with easy access virtual meeting rooms.
