Vodafone has retained its position as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Managed Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Services, Worldwide for both ability to execute and completeness of vision.
Vodafone’s Director of M2M, Erik Brenneis said, “Repeating our success from last year in this highly competitive and exciting market is a tremendous achievement. I believe our strength is based on a not just the scale and scope of our network but also on the level of commitment and focus we give to delivering for our customers.”
Vodafone has connected M2M customers globally for more than 20 years and powers some of the world’s most prominent and successful M2M applications from smart metering to connected cars, mHealth to fleet management.
The assessment criteria for ability to execute included evaluating the product or service, overall viability, sales execution and pricing, market responsiveness and record, marketing execution, customer experience and operations. Criteria for completeness of vision included market understanding, marketing strategy, sales strategy, offering (product) strategy, business model, vertical and industry strategy, innovation and geographic strategy.
