Vodafone has been named as a leader in the first ever Magic Quadrant for Managed Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Services, placing it highest in both ability to execute and completeness of vision. Gartner writes “Leaders believe in the promise of the IoT, and they invest in that future. Leaders perform skilfully and often exceed expectations. Leaders have a clear vision of the market’s direction and develop competencies to maintain their leadership.”

Vodafone has connected M2M customers globally for more than 20 years and powers some of the world’s most prominent and successful M2M deployments including major operations at BMW and Amazon.

Vodafone’s Director of M2M, Erik Brenneis said, “This is tremendous news for Vodafone and shows that we have a strong, successful and differentiated approach to M2M. This is a highly competitive market and we will use this recognition as a spur to ensure that we continue to innovate while maintaining a focus on delivering for our customers.”
