Business need

Isotrak specialises in vehicle tracking, asset management and transport solutions. It provides Global Positioning System (GPS) monitors, which customers across the UK use to manage their vehicle fleets. Isotrak’s customers benefit by having much more information about the whereabouts of their vehicles and performance, helping them to improve resource planning and use, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.

The stability of the network is a major issue for the company and Isotrak’s previous mobile network provider was expensive for large fleets. Isotrak needed to cut costs and become more attractive to potential customers.

"Our customers need to be confident we're tracking their assets at all times, Vodafone has helped us meet that need and establish a reputation for high-quality customer service. Not only that, but the connection s cost less, allowing us to offer a more competitive price to customers." Greville Coe,

Commerical Director at Isotrak

The solution

Vodafone provided Isotrak with a solution based on standard SIM cards with GPRS data connections, which could be installed in its devices. Importantly the Vodafone network covers 99 per cent of the UK, which means that Isotrak customers now have visibility of their vehicles on the vast majority of their routes. Since joining forces with Vodafone, Isotrak’s reputation for delivering high-quality customer service and reliability has been significantly enhanced, with revenue rising as a result.

Key customer benefits

  • Vodafone can guarantee more than 99% network availability, allowing Isotrak to improve its customer service level agreements
  • Vodafone helps Isotrak spends less on network charges. They pass on that saving – in the form of lower licence fees – to their customers
  • Using the Vodafone network means Isotrak can offer a better service to customers with revenues expected to increase by 25 per cent
