With headquarters in Newbury, UK, our experienced team of over 3,000 people work with more than 1,700 corporations worldwide. To ensure we support the needs of your business most effectively, we've structured our European team into three regions: Northern, Central and Southern Europe.

Our team on the ground

Ben Elms

Ben Elms - Regional Director, Asia Pacific and Northern Europe

Ben leads Vodafone Global Enterprise's operations in India, Australia and New Zealand, - and through partnerships across China, South and South East Asia and North Asia.

Ben’s mandate is to further strengthen and expand Vodafone service capabilities as the region’s go-to brand for enterprises seeking innovative, robust total communications solutions. He heads up a team of over 500 employees working across sales, customer management and support services for our multinational customers in Asia Pacific. He is also responsible for managing our relationships with the leading telecom operators across the region.

Ben is also responsible for our global accounts based in Northern Europe - including UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Iceland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Scandinavia. These accounts are managed by a team of more than 200 Global and National Account Managers and Pre-Sales Technical Managers. Revenue, margins and customer satisfaction are key elements of his brief.

Prior to this, Ben was Executive Vice President in charge of sales for Vodafone Global Enterprise in Asia Pacific. Ben served as Enterprise Business Unit Director in Australia till 2013. Ben joined Vodafone in 2004 and has held multiple leadership roles within marketing, strategy, product and business teams across the world.

Before joining Vodafone, Ben worked at Hewlett Packard in the Global Consulting and Integration business where he led the implementation of strategic programmes and offshore outsourcing of internal development capabilities. Prior to this Ben has held senior positions in a global not for profit organisation working to build schools and infrastructure in East, West and South Africa.

Born in England, Ben has lived and worked in Australia, Canada, across Europe, in East and South Africa as well as the United States. He currently lives in Singapore with his wife and four daughters. Ben has an MBA from Henley Management College. In his spare time, he likes to cycle, run and go snowboarding.

thomas schroder

Thomas Schröder - Sales Director, Central and Eastern Europe

Thomas Schröder joined Vodafone Global Enterprise on 1st November 2014 as Sales Director Central and Eastern Europe and therefore responsible for Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Prior to that Thomas Schröder was Managing Director of Microsoft Enterprise and Partner Group in Germany, Vice President Oracle Northern Europe, Vice President Central Europe and Managing Director Sun Microsystems Germany, General Manager Philips Business Communications and has over 20 years experience in senior management market-facing roles in the IT and communications industry.

Thomas studied telecommunications at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and has a degree in telecommunication engineering.

nicolas martinez fresno

Nicolás Martinez-Fresno - Sales Director, Southern Europe

Nicolás is responsible for our global accounts based in Southern Europe - including Portugal, Spain, Italy, Malta, Albania, Greece and Turkey. Delivering sustainable growth while positioning Vodafone as a strategic regional partner to our global accounts are some of his key priorities.

Before joining Vodafone in January 2014, Nicolas gained extensive experience in large corporate international business at Telefónica. Over the past years Nicolás has managed some of Telefónica Global Solutions international MNC customer sales units in Europe and Asia Pacific, delivering business growth in some key markets such as France, Switzerland, Benelux, Scandinavia and China, driving their global expansion into Asia Pacific. Nicolás has also played a leading role in some of Telefónica´s largest transformational deals that contributed to the creation of its Global Accounts business unit. His 12 year career at Telefónica have always been linked to the development of international corporate business, including the consolidation of some of Telefónica´s global partnerships. Prior to this Nicolás worked at Alcatel for eight years.

Nicolás is an Industrial Engineer and has a Masters degree in Business Administration by IESE. Nicolás is married and has four girls.
