Dedicated security expertise to help you identify and reduce risk
As mobility continues to transform the business communications landscape, keeping company data and devices safe and secure has never been so critical, or so challenging.
Recent research from Kaspersky Lab has shown that the average budget needed to recover from a security breach for large businesses is around US$550,000. This includes losses from downtime, loss of business opportunities, but even loss to the company’s credibility and reputation. In 2014, 317 million new threats were created and released; meaning nearly 1 million new threats every day.
In such an environment, mobile security should be one of the top priorities for businesses.
Vodafone’s Mobility Security Assessment provides dedicated security expertise and insight that will enable you to assess current risks to you infrastructure and identify how to reduce them. It will help to keep you compliant with internal and external policies, and empower you to safely expand mobility solutions.
Comprising of three flexible components – risk assessment, device & mobile attack resistance testing and mobile architecture review – the Mobility Security Assessment has been developed to help its customers gain a clearer view of their security vulnerabilities including strengths, weaknesses and expert recommendations based on industry best practice, helping customers reassess and redefine their mobile security posture.
How it works
We provide dedicated security expertise to assess current risks and identify how to reduce them. We advise on how to comply with both internal and external policies. And we give you the confidence to safely expand your mobile capabilities.
We agree the scope and objectives of the assessment with you, then:
- Make clear recommendations on how to control these new risks and to comply with relevant regulatory, industry and government standards.
- Show how you can integrate new technology into your existing security controls.
- Help you have confidence in your existing and future mobility solutions.
- Make it easier for you to offer flexible working by allowing staff to use their preferred mobile devices.
The mobility security assessment is delivered by our global security partner, BAE Systems, working closely with your key stakeholders. It should take between one and four weeks, depending on the number of assessments chosen.
Each of the four services within the Mobility Security Assessment can be taken individually, or as part of a package. Cost may vary according to scope.
At the end of the assessment, we will provide you with a report and presentation that summarise our findings in terms of risks, vulnerabilities and controls. They will identify any significant gaps that you are not currently addressing.
We will provide recommendations that will help you neutralise any outstanding risks. These recommendations also include an outline of solution costs and timescales.
