Vodafone creates a brand new tailored network architecture to support Bayer’s desire to increase efficiency.

Business need

With the Italian economy flat, there were internal and external pressures on Bayer S.p.A. (Italy) to improve internal processes and efficiencies. Bayer S.p.A. (Italy) wanted to try something a little different to approach these challenges, and is striving to work closer with key suppliers to improve employee productivity and get closer to its customers to achieve their goals.


The Vodafone response was to create a brand new network architecture, tailored to Bayer S.p.A. (Italy). They switched their communications from a major domestic telecommunications provider to Vodafone, with 3,000 connections across voice, BlackBerry and iPad.
