We’re really excited about what our hybrid cloud offers our Enterprise customers but now, you don’t just need to take our word for it. Gartner has recognised Vodafone as a ‘Visionary’ within the European managed hybrid cloud hosting market in its latest Magic Quadrant report.
This news follows a great year for our business, having significantly broadened our service portfolio, launching our private cloud solution in the UK, Germany and Ireland, and our virtual private solution in the UK, Germany and Italy.
It’s a fantastic recognition that, we believe, validates the progress we have made to transform our hybrid cloud offer and provide a truly differentiated proposition. This includes new IoT and mobility features that are all underpinned by our secure, global network. After all, your cloud services are only as good as the network that connects them, so you’d want them to be on the best.
And with the increasing importance of data sovereignty and security for your business, our cloud portfolio gives you the breadth of choice you need when starting your journey with us.
This flexibility is, we believe, one of the key drivers behind Gartner naming us as a ‘Visionary’.
When assessing our hybrid cloud portfolio, Gartner looked at two key areas:
- Completeness of vision – our understanding of the market, marketing strategy, sales strategy, product strategy, business model, industry strategy, innovation and geographic strategy
- Ability to execute – our product/service offering, overall viability, sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness, market execution, customer experience and operations
We have made significant progress in both these areas, putting us firmly in the ‘Visionaries’ quarter of the Quadrant.
