Niamh Spelman - President, Middle East & Africa
Niamh Spelman leads the Vodafone Global Enterprise business across Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai. Niamh is responsible for growing the business with and mindshare of Middle East and Africa headquartered companies positioning Vodafone as a strategic clients total communications partner. Niamh’s mandate also includes managing relationships with our strategic partners and Vodafone entities throughout the region.
Prior to joining Vodafone, Niamh was Senior Vice President, Emerging Markets at Fujitsu, responsible for P&L performance of the business across Russia, CIS, Turkey, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
Niamh lived and worked in Russia for 7 years where she was responsible for HP product, services and channel business.
Niamh is a graduate of modern languages, Russian and German, from Trinity College in Dublin.
Deon Liebenberg - Executive Vice President, Africa
Deon is no stranger to Vodafone Global Enterprise Africa. Before taking the role as Executive Vice President, he was the Managing Executive for us at Vodacom in South Africa and CEO for the Vodacom Business Africa Group of companies across Africa. Deon has more than 20 years' experience in the ICT and Telecom Industry, earned working at some of South Africa's leading operators and multinational telecom service providers. During his career, he held a number of sales and business development positons at Vodacom and other organizations such as Telkom SA, Motorola (Pty) Ltd and BlackBerry.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of The Free State as well as a Bachelor of Business Management and Administration, and a Master in Business and Administration from the University of Stellenbosch.
